Some people think that paying taxes is a big enough contribution to society, while others think people have more responsibilities as a member of society than only paying taxes. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There are a lot of discussions around ways to take part in social life as a
citizen
. The vast majority of people believe that paying taxes is enough to be a
descent
socially or conventionally correct; refined or virtuous
decent
citizen
.
However
, the
others
writes (books or stories or articles or the like) professionally (for pay)
authors
claim that individuals need to do more to be a fully-fledged part of society. I stick to the
second
way of thinking. On the one hand, taxes do contribute communities,
therefore
through giving to a government
money
a person already can be considered as a
citizen
who impacts a country in a positive way. Taxes are distributed among citizens and aim at commonwealth.
Hence
, if there were no taxes, most likely there would be no free education, no infrastructure, no
afordable
that you have the financial means for
affordable
medicine service and other goods that support citizens' lives. Paying a fixed sum of
money
, a person indirectly participates in maintaining all these goods and services.
On the other hand
, taxes are not enough because social life consists not only of material problems that can be solved with
money
and proper fiscal systems.
For instance
, governments
also
face challenges in
areas
Suggestion
the areas
of ecology, social
iteractions
a mutual or reciprocal action; interacting
interactions
, religion and many others.
Thus
, to be a responsible
citizen
means not only not to avoid
taxes but
Accept comma addition
taxes, but
also
to contribute in finding solutions for problems society struggles with. Without
such
an impact, taxes will be useless as far as
money
cannot buy citizens' responsible attitude to recycling in the name of saving the planet or their respect to other nations. Summing up, I think that paying taxes are important, but not only feature of a responsible member of society.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
