Dear Jay, I’m writing to let you know that I completely empathize with the issue you are currently facing at work in your new Job at France. I did face a similar situation with my previous employer. Let me explain the problems I faced in detail to you. I was employed

as a challenge and followed a two-way approach by requesting them to use English for formal communication and started learning basic German on the other side. Could I recommend you follow a similar approach for your problem? In the short term, your team will understand and ensure English is used for official work and in the long term, you will get a fair understanding of French. I look forward to hearing from you on my suggestions. Write back soon, Chris
