Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

These days people around the world are suffering from many different pollutions and many governments are putting much effort and time to solve these problems. Especially most of the government

While I would agree that laws for recycling can be an efficient way to make people recycle, I think the governments should put effort and time to protect our environment in another way. On the one hand, there are not many people who think that recycling is important to save the earth and

For instance
, South Korea has a law to regulate people who do not recycle, so most of the citizens recycle their trash every day.
However
, countries which do not have a rule yet for recycling

as India and Philippines are suffering from pollution.
Thus
, if these countries make people pay a bunch of fine when they throw trash without recycling, environmental pollution will be

On the other hand
, the politicians should consider more efficient solution, not giving people financial punishment,
for example
, teaching advantages of recycling in schools and city councils to students and citizens, Most of the schools which are in our country have a course to teach the importance of recycling and there are

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
