Children in some parts of the world have less responsibility compared to children in the past. Some people think it is a positive change, however others think of it as a negative change. What do you think?

Experiencing an e-commerce environment acted as a turning point in my academic life and made me discover a new
interest
in data science, especially
text
mining.
Thus
, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in a relative field to my bachelor's and my newly found passion by selecting an E-commerce programme at the Alzahra
University
of Tehran after attaining the required entrance exam score. With the prospect of an exciting future in international academia in mind, I took on numerous responsibilities during that period
such
as paid RA and TA roles.
Also
, I successfully earned a quite high GPA and accomplished the headmost exceptional talent award issued by the
university
which acts as a free pass to a PhD program in the top public universities of Iran, without having to take the required entrance examinations. Simultaneously, I pursued writing my
thesis
which was about investigating the effect of product features on electronic word-of-mouth marketing using
text
mining tools. Overall, I carried out
this
research
using
text
analysis and
text
mining means namely, RapidMiner, R and Excel on 100000 Persian customer reviews of DigiKala, the biggest online shop and marketplace platform in Iran, with the aim of discovering general product features and clustering them. The findings have the capacity to be used by organisations and industries to improve product design and manufacturing. At the end of my challenging yet rewarding journey in
research
for the
first
time, my
thesis
was evaluated as original and excellent by the committee members. Currently, I’m drafting a paper which is extracted from my
thesis
and I intend to submit it for publication in an open-access journal.
Also
, I’m seeking a PhD position related to my current
research
interest
in the Netherlands. Many know Holland by its majestic windmills, picturesque tulip plains and bicycle-loving people. But
besides
its undeniable beauty, Holland to me is the homeland of Brueghel, Huygens and Schmidt.
Also
, the fact that the Dutch are known for their acceptance of uniqueness and variety is the
first
indicator of a highly developed society. Sentimental characteristics aside, Netherland has pioneered technological global advancements for many years and surely is among the best options for every scientist or engineer, and in my particular case, an eccentric technophile, it seems like the ultimate utopia.
Additionally
, my
interest
in Tilburg
University
comes from its high rankings and incredible international faculty ratio coupled with the marvellous chance that
this
PhD programme offers in terms of the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative
research
environment
that is
so well-aligned with my personal skills and expertise.
Thus
, the prospect of being able to join a highly skilled and esteemed
research
team in a leading European
university
is not something that could be easily neglected. Since
this
particular position is aimed at serving the Open Science movement, I of all people would be more than glad to be able to participate in it.
This
interest
stems from many challenges that obfuscated my data acquisition when I was writing my
thesis
. As I live in Iran and due to the fact that unfortunately many sanctions are imposed on the country, I do not always have access to newly published articles and scientific journals.
This
either happens because of strong restrictions in place on many websites or due to payment issues.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
