The system used for rubbish/garbage collection in your local is not working properly. This is causing problems you and your neighbours. Write a letter to the local council. In your letter • Describe how the rubbish collection system is not working properly • Explain how this is affecting you and your neighbours • Suggest what should be done about the problem

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing
this
letter with regard to reporting an issue with the rubbish collection system in my community. The main problem is that the cover of the rubbish chute, installed on the 11th floor is not closed tightly for a couple of weeks. The chute’s cover didn’t close fitly after throwing rubbish into the tube and
also
there is a gap between the cover and the chute.
For
this
reason, I contacted the west coast town council
last
week and launched a complaint related to
this
case.
However
, no action was taken by the authority up to
this
point.
Therefore
, I am writing an official letter and requesting to fix the matter soonest.
Due to
this
reason, my neighbours and including myself are suffering from the unpleasant smell of the trashes.
Moreover
, we started to see the existence of ants and cockroaches outside of our units which we did not encounter before. Appreciate it if you could arrange for a service team down to our blocks and replace the cover as soon as possible.
Additionally
, I would like to suggest that the town council should form a team and schedule a regular inspection in order to avoid
such
problems in the future. I do hope that
this
issue will be resolved soon. Yours faithfully, Hninn Ei Ei Win
