The line graph demonstrates alternatives ,which were committed in the three main domains of different offences within Newsport city centre between 2003-2012 .
Overall
,at the beginning burglary had the highest rate : 3400 incidents ,the number of which dropped sharply by 2008 to 1200 occurrences and had remained virtually unchanged since.
On the contrary
, robbery had a low rate ,which didn’t fluctuate significantly : about 750 incidents in 2003 that decreased to 500 in 2008 and
then
gradually returned to its previous amount by 2012.
Also
,one of the area of crime is car theft , figures of which hold always fairly steady . Observing
this
area,it is interesting to note it decreased a little bit from 2800 to around 2000 occasions between 2005 and 2006 and
then
, car theft’s indicators rose slowly until it reached in 2012 the same level as in the beginning.
Thus
,
this
type of crime became the most common.
