Why is it important to have job autonomy?
Getting a job that in lines with your passion may be enjoyable. It because you have a bigger chance to apply your mastery into practice. And there are many people out there who don’t have the same experience as yours in this case. A few people trying to look for the job, some are waiting to be called for interviewed and others are waiting to get hired.
You may also feel lucky since you were getting hired without making a big effort to get selected. You feel that you are a perfect-fit worker that the companies need. And It makes you even happier as you have been dreaming of working in that company for a long.
At first, all things seem running smoothly without defect. And you think it was a good starting point to show your best performance while working. Your expectation about being free to express yourself is becoming a priority to support your position. You believed that always makes you optimistic in the probation time.
But, high expectation about those things has ruined your career. You are getting inferior because you are not able to express your ideas, strategy, and implementation in your way. Foremost, autonomy makes your job performance better than when you don’t have it at all. It is because by having such freedom to express the idea, the workers will much confident and optimistic. It also hinders job stress that may make them feel working under pressure. The point here is how to make yourself happy while doing your job.
Frankly, Nothing will gonna stop your effort to reach the goals as long as you are getting job autonomy in doing whatever you do.
