It is sometimes argued that advertising power and the artificial needs of the people should be represented by products sold in high sales. In my opinion, it would be wrong to encourage people to spend unnecessary money.
There are several reasons why advertisements can be useful in society. Firstly, this can inform people about real bargains so brochures and catalogs enable people to compare products and services at leisure. Secondly, if people do not have time to shop around, they would rely on advertising, so they can learn about new products. Finally, the advertisement could inform people about the environmental impact of products. As a result, customers can consider the ecological effect of goods. One the other hand, the advertisement could extremely create artificial needs, while people maybe would not need to buy the product.
