Primarily, online teaching offers convenient for both students and teachers. If the teacher can take lessons online at home, this can save abundant time that spend on traffic congestion. Thus, professor can spend more time to prepare the lectures and students can have more time to focus on their homework projects. The local students can benefit from online teaching and the international students can take courses much easier than before. Foreign students can just stay in their homeland to get the same level of lessons, which have an economic benefit that saves money from renting.
However, some people claim online courses have also a lot of disadvantages compared with teaching in classroom. Without physically being in the classroom, students can fake the attendance because people can just sign in the online classroom without really listening.
