Refugees are often victims of circumstances beyond their control, such as war or persecution. Turning them away contradicts the principles of humanity and solidarity that many wealthy nations claim to uphold. By sharing the burden more equitably, developed countries can promote global stability and reduce the strain on neighboring developing countries, which often bear the brunt of refugee crises. In conclusion, I firmly believe that wealthy countries should do more to support refugees by accepting greater numbers and ensuring they receive basic assistance. This approach not only reflects moral and humanitarian values but also contributes to a more balanced and compassionate global community.

The pie chart illustrates the principle reasons behind the worldwide land degradation, whilst the table chart represents the main causes which led to the aforementioned issue by region in the 1990s. Overall, over-grazing was the main cause of agricultural land degradation, while European region was the one mostly affected by this issue. Looking in closer detail at the pie chart, it can be clearly seen that over grazing is the leading factor of land degradation trough the world with a frequency of 35%. It comes after the deforestation issue which represents 30% and the over cultivation with 28%. However, a minority of other reasons are still responsible in this environmental disease. Moreover, the table chart highlights the fact that Europe is the most devasted land comparing to Oceania and north America with worth 23% . The main cause is deforestation representing a portion of 9.8% . Oceania follows the word wide trend with over grazing as a first cause of land degradation. Finally, north America is clearly the less polluted country with 5% of land destructed.

It is also clear that despite some fluctuations, spending on books increased in all four places over the 10 years. German expenditure fluctuated between around $80 million and about $90 million between 1995 and 2003 before increasing to just under $100 million in 2005. France was the only country that experienced a steady rise, with around $55 million worth of books sold in 1995, about $70 million in 2001, and finally just under $80 million in 2005. The figure for Italy hovered at around $50 million dollars until 1999, when it steadily rose to just over $60 million in 2005. Austrians spent approximately $30 million in 1995, and this went up by around $10 million over the next four years and remained stable for two years, before it climbed dramatically to just above $70 million in 2005.

The given chart shows the rate of men and women aged between 60 -64 in employment in four countries in 1970 and in 2000. overall, men and women worked many percentage in 1970 compared to 2000 but compared to men, working women percentage is lower than men in four countries in both years. Firstly, In these four countries, men had worked high percentage in 1970. In Australia 74% of men worked in 1970 compared to 2000 it reduced to 47%, in Japan 84% in 1970 to 76% in 2000, in the USA 73% in 1970 to 55% in 2000 and in Belgium 79% in 1970 to 19% in 2000. Secondly, in these four countries compared to men, women had a small percentage of people working aged 60-64. In Australia 18% of women worked in 1970 compared to 2000 it increased to 19%, in Japan 43% in 1970 to 40% in 2000 in the USA 36% in 1970 to 38% in 2000 and in Belgium 8% in 1970 to 7% in 2000.

It is argued by many that for growth and development of a nation,government should provide more funds to teach science subjects like medical science, computer science and information technology as compared to other subjects.I assert with this opinion because inventions in through science have helped saving health and environment significantly. To embark on, Science plays a pivotal role in human development over centuries.Researches in medical science have helped cure various diseases like cancer and other long term diseases as well as irradicate and prevent lethal diseases like plague, polio,influenza and Ebola.Thereby helping improve health of the country.Recent health surveys in the United Kingdom has shown overall 30 percent reduction in occurrence of diseases .Thus, investing more money in teaching medical studies will help country progress and develop. In addition, advancement in computer science and information technology has aided in development of industries with complex machineries,which helped increasing the productivity.Thereby boosting economic growth of the country.Owing to use of machineries and manufacturing processes in the United States and China , studies have shown that these countries have progressed significantly over years.In fact the developed countries all over the world have more scientific background as compared to developing countries.furthermore industrialisation helps produce jobs eventually promoting the economic growth of the nation. To, conclude, in my opinion, although other subjects like arts and literature would benefit country,funding more in scientific teaching would help invent new things which will promote growth and development of the country and make it a better place to live in.
