Nowadays, there has been a rise in the number of nuclear families as compared to the extended families. While having a small family can be beneficial in many ways such as financial stability and access to better and quality education, there are some considerable drawback. Nuclear family on the one hand makes it easier for the household to achieve a better and a more sustainable financial stability as a result of the number of people to be catered for. For instance, In a small family where both parent work, they are able to provide all the support and luxuries their family requires and able to save funds while planning for their future needs. Also, having this type of family will allow the parent to provide a high standard education for the kids because the increasing cost of quality education has made it difficult for a medium income earner to afford. Therefore, a family with small members would be able to save more money and provide this for their kids. On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to having a small sized family such as having a small support system. In emergency situations such as an accident or even in the time of illness, it becomes increasingly difficult to meet the family’s expectations and needs especially in instances where both are working and have young children to look after. In conclusion, while it can be advantageous to have a small household because of its less financial stress and access to qualitative education, having a small support group can serve as a major drawback.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a small family rather than a large family? In the previous years, people practiced communal living and big family size was a way of life. However, lately, there is a colossal upsurge globally for want of lesser family size over big families. It is advantageous to have fewer size of family owing to the fact that it more likely to ensure overall wellbeing of its members but there are some drawbacks which need to be taken into account. There are a number of plus points to small family. First, it has a more likelihood of bringing forth individuals with better life. That is to say, with lesser number of family members, there is a greater access to adequate diet, better health care and life in general. Moreso, children from this kind of family have more chances of attending the best schools which gives them an edge in the society in the long run. In addition, parents are able to focus their offspring and raise responsible citizens who can contribute positively to the growth and development of a Nation. On the other hand, despite the merits of above, some pitfalls still exist. Parents in the small family settings are usually over protective over their children because there are not a lot of them; the children are restricted from blending with other members of the society. This can make the children too reliant on their guardians over things that can sometimes be sorted out themselves. Also, they are not opportuned to be as versatile as they would have been of they are exposed to larger family members. For instance, young ones are able to learn different skills and manners from various members of a larger family. In conclusion, while is a more and more increased preference for smaller family size, people should be wary of the disadvantages like overly dependent citizens that it brings.

There exist contrasting views about supervisors seeking some data, while employing new workers, about their likes and dislikes or their marital status that whether it is relevant or irrelevant to inquire about this information. There exist strong arguments in support of both sides of this debate, which implies it is worth examining both points of view before reaching any conclusion. To commence with, it is vital to collect the necessary data about the fresh entrants in any organisation because it would give an idea about providing incentives to particular worker to boost the morale. Precisely, the management would be able to decide that whether reward should be monetary or non-monetary. To illustrate, a strong economy of Japan is evident because of contented workers due to the perfect recognition methodology adopted by the industrialists. It is, therefore, imperative to gather the requisite data to utilise it at a correct time. On the contrary, every human has a different psychological pattern, and some employees may consider this as a wrong practice. As they would be creating a false and negative image about the company at a very initial stage, it would affect their output level deleteriously. A recent research in Europe, for example, proved that a colossal number of young working professionals did not perform well in beginning of their job because they were not pleased with the questions being asked during their interview. Hence, the reason of asking questions should be mentioned on company’s website to avoid any conflicts. In conclusion, it can be reiterated that whereas demanding some information about their families from a fresh entrant could be proved advantageous for rewarding them, it might lead to a negative approach about the company. However, it would be a smart move, in my perspective, for strengthening the bond between factory and its workers.
