The most evident reason would be vicious competition in today’s world. Children who want to study at a famous university have to achieve better scores than their peers. In addition, they have to handle relationships with people around them. They have been told that social skill can benefit them to get opportunities in society in the future. As a consequence, some students try to make friends with children who have good scores or excellent family backgrounds. On the other hand, children also get pressure from their families and peers. The solution for the first condition is to encourage them to learn for interests rather than scores.
