The diagram illustrates the multitude of steps a book undergoes before being published. Overall, there are nine stages a manuscript goes through before being released to the readership. After being written, the manuscript is sent from the writer to the publishing house in order to be meticulously analyzed and studied. Once the book is validated, a contract between the author and the publisher has to be agreed and signed. The next step consists of designing the layout for the book using computer science, before getting the final validation. Then comes the moment to print, in other words, put the data from a digital form to a paper form. The printing is followed by the bookbinding. In fact, the editor chooses the correct format of the manuscript. Finally, the volume can be delivered to many bookshops so it can be commercialized. All the process takes approximatively a timespan of 18 to 24 months. To conclude we can say that the release of a writing production in a paper format, no matter the literature gender of it, needs numerous steps. These are 9 stations to be exact, and require full collaboration between a publishing house and the author.

The maps illustrate the major developments in the town of Springer from 1970 to the present. Overall, the city’s landscape has undergone significant transformations over this fifty-year period, marked by numerous changes and the introduction of new amenities. In 1970, Springer was primarily a rural area, characterized by a vast forest, large farmland, and only a few buildings, including two houses and one shop. However, the town has experienced dramatic changes over the years. Notably, much of the forest was cleared to make way for various new facilities. A school was built at the town’s center, surrounded by numerous shops. In the top right-hand corner, an airport was constructed, located near a small remaining portion of the forest, as well as some flats above the shops. The large farmland from 1970 was reduced significantly to accommodate additional apartments and new housing. Moreover, there has been a marked increase in the number of roads connecting the buildings compared to the 1970 layout (disposition). Despite these developments, some green spaces from the original forest remain, particularly a stretch of greenery along the western edge of the town. In conclusion, Springer has been transformed dramatically from a rural settlement in 1970 to a more urbanized area today.
The provided pictures compare the layout of student rooms for one individual and two individuals at an Australian university. It is noticeable that the room for two people is more expensive and bigger in size than the one-person room. Also, there are more amenities in room for two occupants compared to the single person room. It costs $350 per week to rent the student room for two people while the rate for single person room is much lower, at $200 weekly. Though both rooms share the same length of 6 meters, the one for two people has a width of 4 meters, which is 1.5 meters wider than the other. Both of the rooms offer basic facilities, such as study desk, television, bed and kitchen appliances. However, with more space, the room for two occupants has additional pieces of furniture, namely, two bookshelves, two cupboards, table and chairs. One extra bed and study desk are provided to better accommodate the students in the larger room.
