The rapid development of technology allows students to get university and college degree by taking online courses. Primarily, online teaching offers convenient for both students and teachers. If the teacher can take lessons online at home, this can save abundant time that spend on traffic congestion. The local students can benefit from online teaching and the international students can take courses much easier than before. However, some people claim online courses have also a lot of disadvantages compared with teaching in classroom. Without physically being in the classroom, students can fake the attendance because people can just sign in the online classroom without really listening. Meanwhile, studying online is not a good way to help teachers and students to know each other, which limits the opportunity of students to ask professor or classmates’ questions. From my perception, the advantages that people can benefit from online course can totally outweigh the cost that students paid. Time is the most valuable things in the world, which is worth to be traded by using the opportunity to ask question. Choosing whether the traditional teaching in campus or studying at home may depend on personal needs and both of them is excellent method for studying.

Overall, it can be seen that South Asia had the highest rate of illteracy whereas developed countries has the lowest one. In developed countries and Latin American or Caribbean, both the illteracy rate of males and females was similar, about 2% apart. Meanwhile, exactly 20% of illiterate females in East Asia,which doubled that of males. Turning to 3 remaining regions where the rate of illiterate people was high. There are above 30%, under 32% and approximately 35% male in illiteracy in Sub-Saharan Africa, Arab States and South Asia, respectively. All of them was two of third that of females.

In contrast, Oceania has the least position of this table. To begin, Asia experienced 4% increase and it is estimated to fall from 59% to 60%. In addition, Africa and Latin America are the two regions that witnessed an increase in their population and they are expected to increase in 2050 to just over 20% and 9%, respectively. People of the Europe and North America experienced a considerable fall which seem set to continue in the future. Oceania with just 1% of the people in the world, is the last region of population in this list.
