Question: Some people think the best way to motivate people to work hard is to pay them based on how much they produce or sell. Do you agree or disagree? Include relevant example from your own Answer Owing to the indolence nature of humans, It is believed by some people that the most effective method of motivating people to work efficiently is payment based on their productivity and sales. This essay agrees with wages based on work done as individuals tend to work more to earn more; and improvement of sales is evident. Firstly, Paying individuals in accordance with their productivity makes people work hard in order to earn well. This is because people desire a good pay and will do anything to earn it even if it means putting in extra effort and time. To illustrate, In Nigeria, Unilever factory workers are paid daily based on the quantity of their production. As a result, workers perform their work in their full capacity till exhaustion. Hence, wages based on work output is a reliable way of ensuring diligence and hard work at workplaces. Secondly, wages that are dependent on sales give rise to development of better marketing strategies to improve sales. Employees will be encouraged to emulate better marketing and communications skills to advertise and encourage buyers to purchase goods because target must be met. For instance, When my aunt implemented salary based on sales strategy at her supermarket, 20% increased sales in the first month and 45% in the second market were recorded respectively. This is because of lesser pay when the sales is below the target and more pay when above the target. Therefore, payment that is based on sales gives rise to better performance of the employer and the company as a whole. In conclusion, wages that dependent on productivity and sales is the best approach to ensure hard work, better performance and growth of the company as a whole.

The table chart illustrates the number employees and manufactures in both England and Wales from 1851 to 1901. Overall, the numbers of employees were dwindling whilst factories' numbers stayed roughly the same over the fifty-year period. Looking in closer detail to the table, it can be highlighted that the number of employees in 1851 was worth 477 100 for a total of 225 factories with a majority of males. A decade later, the number of factories jumped slightly to 227 with a noticeable decrease of employes, mainly composed by females, who represented 160 000 workers versus 131780 male workers. In 1871, the number of manufacturing facilities lifted overwhelmingly up, to nearly 3 times higher, with a steady decline for the employees’ number. However, men are this time more represented in the workers. This trend will continue until 1891, when the number of factories moved down from 721 in 1881 to 625 one decade later. With less workers and more males than females, the quantity of factories arrived to a point of 600 factories in 1901, involving a bottom of 61 000, concerning the total employee number. To conclude, we can say with confidence that throughout the second part of the 19st century, the number of factories increased with a significant decrease in the number of workers, no matter they are males or females.

Celebrities and their salaries nowadays have considered an ubiquitous depate all over the globe. Their highly salaries gravitate vast amount of youngsters to change their careers to be one them one day.many of public people do not see that would make any trouble if they get high salaries while others think that it is more than usual. I adopt the stance that many of those entertainers do not deserve what they get. In this essay I will discuss both points of views and giving examples for both views. To begin with, many of entertainers are squandering the money that could be spent in a beneficial way like charity purposes because these money are not restricted for a specific criteria of people. For instance,in 2017 Emaa watsson who is a Hollywood actress had been paid for 142 million dollars for her last movie, which is considered to be wasting of money.Insteadily, that can be spent on rebuilding the society or at least contributing of that. This shows that many of young generation when they are following that could think of doing anything to imitate them. On the other hand, the rest of people who take a proponent side with spending high salaries on the entertainers have of the beleif that they are role models and represent the country and its talents all over the world.Additionally, the quintessential role that they are doing in advising the youth and the awareness campaigns they make. For example,in 2014 Angelina jolie who is a Hollywood celebrity had made a campaign for starved people in Somalia and donated for them.Surprisingly, her campaign gained a lot of sympathy and welcoming all over the globe.Hence, their roles and their impact on people can not be replaced with anything else. In conclusion,it can be reiterrated that those entertainers may exert a beneficial role in our society but also it can not be compared to the money that they get. However, many of them could donate for different charity organisations.that could be advantageous but in my humble opinion I tink that it is a few amount of money that originally belong to the public.
