The most evident reason would be vicious competition in today’s world. Children who want to study at a famous university have to achieve better scores than their peers. Conversely, parents can hardly offer professional education in various subjects as school teachers do. Even they can hire professional tutors teaching at home, that still cannot compare with school education, let alone it is a big financial burden from a family. Additionally, students not only get knowledge at school but also practise social skills with their peers, such as communication skills and conflict solving methods.
