The pie charts depict online sales for Canadian retailers in 2005 and 2010. Overall, electronic appliances and food were the most commonly purchased items online during both years. In 2005, electronic appliances were the top-selling product, accounting for 35 percent of online sales, followed by home furnishings at 22%. Food and beverages represented 22% of the total online market, whilst video games made up the smallest share at 18 percent. However, the trend shifted by 2010. Although electronic goods still made up a significant portion of sales at 30%, they were no longer the top-selling category. Food and beverages took the lead, comprising a percentage of 32% of total sales. Video games moved into third place, accounting for 23% of online purchases, while home furnishings dropped to the lowest position, representing just 15 percent. In summary, electronics was consistently represented as a key segment of Canada's online market throughout both years.

The pie charts illustrate the online sales for Canadian retailers in 2005 and 2010. Overall, both electronic appliances and foods were the most purchased via the internet. During the year 2005, the most sold product was electronic appliances with 35% whilst the second most purchased via online shopping was home furnishings with 22% from all the vending. Comes after food and beverage and video games with the former that took 22% of the global online market and the latter that represented the smallest proportion 18% Nonetheless, the trend has changed 5 years after in 2010. Indeed, Electronic goods still represented an important part of the total selling with 30%, but weren’t the first product to be sold. Food and beverage took the lead with a proportion of 32% of the total sales. In addition, video games came in the 3rd position representing 23% of online purchases in Canada whilst home furnitures became at the last position of online bargains with 15%. In general, electronics have always represented an important part of the online market in Canada.
