Once the book is validated, a contract between the author and the publisher has to be agreed upon and signed. The next step consists of designing the layout for the book using computer science, before getting the final validation. Then comes the moment of printing, in other words, put the data from a digital form to a paper form. The printing is followed by the bookbinding.
