There are several reasons why advertisements can be useful in society. Firstly, this can inform people about real bargains so brochures and catalogs enable people to compare products and services at leisure. Secondly, if people do not have time to shop around, they would rely on advertising, so they can learn about new products. Finally, the advertisement could inform people about the environmental impact of products. As a result, customers can consider the ecological effect of goods. Furthermore, I believe that the art of advertising might be subtly to persuade people to spend money on specific goods.
In conclusion, my view is that advertisements could create needs which are unreal, therefore, increase company sales.
