College life is one of the best life where you can learn lot of things which help you further in life. It is commonly belive that is essential for high school students to live outside their parental habitations. I strongly believe on this argument. This essay further discusses the idea of independence living briefly and identify how maturity will increase or decrease along with time. On one hand, college students who are largely isolated, learn some positive social values when they are started living outside their parents scope. Firstly, students are able to socialize with other fellows from different backgrounds; hence, they adopt some positive social values, their customs and traditions which help them in near future. In addition, they will be able to deal with all of their problems specially financial issues efficiently. For instance, one student who visit abroad and it only have a certain amount as a living allowance, so it will learn how to live independently outside their comfort zone with limited resources. To further explain, student who living outside their parents watchhardly concentrate due to low moral support. This form of lure is usually augmented by their peers, who are almost there for help, and also guide them in every aspects therefore, they are easily convinced. For example, one of my friend who go abroad for study has a nervous breakdown due to no moral support. There is no one for its guidance and assure him at the time of high pressure due to studies. In the absence of parental support, most student lose self-esteem since they need this form of support to study effectively. In many countries, especially tourism-driven ones, there has been a long-lasting controversy over the matter of whether cultural traditions such as historical sites should be commercialized and used as tourist attractions. While I agree with the idea that to some extent, tourism exerts a negative influence on the culture of a country, I would argue that only through this business sector can such valuable assets be preserved for posperity. On the one hand, opponents of cultural tourism claim that it would have destructive effects on the host country’s culture. Essentially, both tangible cultural traditions such as royal palaces and intangible ones like traditional music were established and uphold by a restricted group of indigenous people who show deep appreciation for their own assets. Conversely, exposuring such cultural items to the wider public inevitably means that they are more prone deviations and damages. For instance, craftmen, with a view to catering for tourists’ preferences, might create artifacts whose traits differ from the conventional products’. The pressing issues of vandalism and desecration of historic buildings commited by travellers is another example sufficing to illustrate this point. On the other hand, those who support cultural-based tourism maintain that this is the only means with which the preservation of traditions could be achieved. Any cultural value would require the public’s recognition and physical upkeep in order to last. Through introducing foreign visitors to the tangible and intangible cultural values of the native, not only can those values be appreciated by a wider group of people, but they would also receive better maintenance thanks to the tax revenues generated from the tourism sector. Japan and South Korea are two high-profile examples of countries that have effectively values incorporated their traditional in tourism, attracting a large number of visitors from overseas by means of their culture, while widely promoting their traditional assets to foreigners. To sum up, while tourist-generated degradation of traditional values is an unwanted consequence of culture-based tourism, this business plays a pivotal role in the preservation of such values.

Taking a “gap year” off between high school and university has become a popular option among many young people. This time off provides a break after many years of formal study. Some students use this time to travel around the world, others volunteer and still others begin working. The idea behind each of these activities is to do something hands-on and refreshing, which enables young people to learn more about themselves and their place in the world around them. The benefits of taking a year off are plentiful. On a personal level, students who travel away from home develop their independence and self-confidence. On a cultural level, they learn about viewpoints, traditions and perspectives different from their own. Professionally, students get a taste of diverse workplaces, which might inspire a possible career interest. Intellectually, they examine their own beliefs and ideas in relation to those of others in a new environment. All these advantages combine to make a strong case for taking the one-year break. Nevertheless, there are also dangers involved in taking such a long break. Academically, the main drawback is that students can get sidetracked from their studies. A year is a long time and students could lose the good study habits and sense of discipline they had when they were in a formal academic structure. If they begin working, they could also be deluded into thinking that they’re making a lot of money. They could lose the benefit of college or university education and the chance to earn a higher income all their lives. In conclusion, whether to take a year-long break or not is an individual decision. Each young person should consider his or her motivations carefully and decide on what’s most desirable. Time is a precious resource and people of all ages, including young people, should treat it with respect
