A lot of money is spent nowadays searching for oil. As the world's oil resources will eventually run out, it would be more logical to spend some of this money on developing new sources of power, such as wind and solar. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.

Alternative energy source that use the natural power of the wind, waves and sun are too expensive and complicated to replace the coal, oil and gas that we use to power our cities and transport. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion.
Climate change is a big environmental problem that has become critical in last couple of decades. Some people claim that humans should stop burning fossil fuels and use only alternative energy resource, such as wind and solar power. Others say that oil, gas and coal are essential for many industries, and not using them will lead to economic collapse. What is your opinion? Support your point of view with relevant examples.

The table chart illustrates the number employees and manufactures in both England and Wales from 1851 to 1901. Overall, the numbers of employees were dwindling whilst factories' numbers stayed roughly the same over the fifty-year period. Looking in closer detail to the table, it can be highlighted that the number of employees in 1851 was worth 477 100 for a total of 225 factories with a majority of males. A decade later, the number of factories jumped slightly to 227 with a noticeable decrease of employes, mainly composed by females, who represented 160 000 workers versus 131780 male workers. In 1871, the number of manufacturing facilities lifted overwhelmingly up, to nearly 3 times higher, with a steady decline for the employees’ number. However, men are this time more represented in the workers. This trend will continue until 1891, when the number of factories moved down from 721 in 1881 to 625 one decade later. With less workers and more males than females, the quantity of factories arrived to a point of 600 factories in 1901, involving a bottom of 61 000, concerning the total employee number. To conclude, we can say with confidence that throughout the second part of the 19st century, the number of factories increased with a significant decrease in the number of workers, no matter they are males or females.

Write a letter to translation agency about the report to be translated urgently.
In your letter, you should:
•explain the content of letter
- The letter is technical review of Windshield design of new car, Due to the recent issue of unpleasant sound in car cockpit, as the sealing of the glass is not adequate
•why you need translated report
- most engineers are french and preferred technical document in french
•why do you need it urgently. -and need to resolve issue as the car is in production and any delay in resolving this issue could cost company a fortune.

The given charts depict two different ways of protection for homes which are at risk of being flooded, and both of the houses are raised above ground level. The main difference between the two protection plans is whether there is a stopbank or not In the first diagram, the function of a stopbank as a barrier against flooding from nearby rivers is illustrated. This barrier, depicted as a mound near a drain/river, exceeds the predicted height of a 100-year flood. Additionally, the houses can be built on stilts to prevent flooding from rainwater, and there is a floodgate beneath the stopbank opened to allow the internal winding to drain off into the river. In contrast, the second illustration portrays the dire consequences of a house lacking such protection, directly exposed to overflowing water. In this case, buildings are also raised on stilts. The height of the stilts is 300mm above the 100-year flood level which is called freeboard. This measurement can secure the house against the flood.
