is about the life of a black woman and how she grew to become who she is today. It is a powerful book
to me that described how a young girl faced racism in school and how she overcame it with the help of identifying who she is and becoming whom she has identified herself as.
Furthermore
, "The Becoming" played a great role in my life at the time I read it and helped me to identify some capabilities in me as a young black lady. it helped me to face my fears and overcome them without being bitter about the system I find myself.

, I am of the belief that every young lady that might be facing an inferiority complex and always hiding in their Shadows need this
