The given charts depict two different ways of protection for homes which are at risk of being flooded, and both of the houses are raised above ground level. The main difference between the two protection plans is whether there is a stopbank or not In the first diagram, the function of a stopbank as a barrier against flooding from nearby rivers is illustrated. This barrier, depicted as a mound near a drain/river, exceeds the predicted height of a 100-year flood. Additionally, the houses can be built on stilts to prevent flooding from rainwater, and there is a floodgate beneath the stopbank opened to allow the internal winding to drain off into the river. In contrast, the second illustration portrays the dire consequences of a house lacking such protection, directly exposed to overflowing water. In this case, buildings are also raised on stilts. The height of the stilts is 300mm above the 100-year flood level which is called freeboard. This measurement can secure the house against the flood.

Overall, a multitude of arrangements and amenities changed the city's landscape in aforementioned fifty-year period. In addition, the huge farmland has been restricted to a small area in order to allow place to some appartements and a house lift up. It has also been a surge in quantity of arteries between buildings than the 1970’s model. Even though, we can still notice some green spaces from the past forest, especially a band of Greenland alongside- the west town. To conclude, the town of springer changed drastically from 1970 to nowadays, moving from a rural to an urban area.

The maps illustrate detail plan of the port of the Liverton in 1980 and how does it appear today. Overall, it can be clearly seen, the area has been transpormed in to more residensial facilities and developing the flood prevention method. Furthermore, the bridge that connected to two river bank is built. When turnning to the first plan, in 1980 this area mainly used for exported and imported of goods.At that time two wharehouses were on north side of the river bank, one of them has been mordenized as a education centre. The other one has been replaced by the kid's playing area. Thea newly build building replace the crane which is using as a sailing club, on betwen education centre at the left side and right side of it has playing area. Apart from that, dramatical changes can be seen on the south side of the river bank. The wharehouse on the middle of the river bank has been renovated in the appartment while newly constructed hotel is appeard left side of it. Moreover, the parking facilities are provided next to the appartments. On the other hand, today, the area is prevented from flood by constructing the barrier.
