Specifically, heating and water heating consume a significant amount of energy, most of the greenhouse gas emission come from water heating and other appliances. Moreover, this shows that heating and water heating are the two largest uses of energy, with 42 and 30 percent of the total. Othe appliances consume 15%, which is roughly twice as energy used by refrigeration. Lighting and cooling use minute energy, at 4% and 2%. It clear from the graph that the energy capacity increased about 5 GW from 6.688GW to 11.678GW in 2015 and 2040.
