The pie chart below given illustrates how human activities affected agricultural lands in an andverse way. Also, the table reveals the effections of these activities on 3 regions. Include, North America, Europe, oceania, throughout the 1990s. Overall, as can be seen, over-grazing was the most harmful activity for agrigulture. Moreover, Europe with the highest rate in total land degradation was the first region that was affected the most. In contrast, North America is the least spot in the total rate in this table. To begin, over-grazing with 35% of effection had the highest damage. Meanwhile, Oceania was damaged by over-grazing the most (11.3%). Deforestation and over-cultivation with 5% and 7% difference, came after over-grazing. Also, The agricultural lands were affected a lot in Europe by deforestration activities (9.8%). On the other hand, other reasons contain 7% of the pie chart and it was the lowest position. Taking a “gap year” off between high school and university has become a popular option among many young people. This time off provides a break after many years of formal study. Some students use this time to travel around the world, others volunteer and still others begin working. The idea behind each of these activities is to do something hands-on and refreshing, which enables young people to learn more about themselves and their place in the world around them.
The benefits of taking a year off are plentiful. On a personal level, students who travel away from home develop their independence and self-confidence. On a cultural level, they learn about viewpoints, traditions and perspectives different from their own. Owing to the indolence nature of humans, It is believed by some people that the most effective method of motivating people to work efficiently is payment based on their productivity and sales. This essay agrees with wages based on work done as individuals tend to work more to earn more; and improvement of sales is evident.
Firstly, Paying individuals in accordance with their productivity makes people work hard in order to earn well. This is because people desire a good pay and will do anything to earn it even if it means putting in extra effort and time. To illustrate, In Nigeria, Unilever factory workers are paid daily based on the quantity of their production. As a result, workers perform their work in their full capacity till exhaustion. Hence, wages based on work output is a reliable way of ensuring diligence and hard work at workplaces.
Secondly, wages that are dependent on sales give rise to development of better marketing strategies to improve sales. Employees will be encouraged to emulate better marketing and communications skills to advertise and encourage buyers to purchase goods because target must be met. For instance, When my aunt implemented salary based on sales strategy at her supermarket, 20% increased sales in the first month and 45% in the second market were recorded respectively. This is because of lesser pay when the sales is below the target and more pay when above the target. Therefore, payment that is based on sales gives rise to better performance of the employer and the company as a whole.
In conclusion, wages that dependent on productivity and sales is the best approach to ensure hard work, better performance and growth of the company as a whole.
