Throughout the entire period, although the total number of tourists began at 1million, it went up by 2.5 million, resulting in this proportion reached the peak of 3.5 million. Moreover, travellers spending time on the island showed increasing annual figures, and after 2012, those people went up to 2 million in 2017.
