According to the chart, there is a noticable increase in tourism in Caribbean islands, with the number rising consistently from 1 million to 2.75 million between 2010 and 2016 before a huge jump to 3.5 in 2017. In detail, the number of visitors staying on island remained steady at 0.75 million in 2010 and 2011, after which there is a significant grow in 2013 with the figure twice as large as that in 2010. Then the number levelled out at 1.5 million despite a drop in 2016. In addition, there was a different trend among the tourists who staied on cruist ships: after a fluctuation between 0.25 million and 0.5 billion for 3 years, it climbed gradually during the rest peroid to 2 million, overtaking the figure for those mentioned above in 2016.
