Without capital punishment our lives are less secure and crimes or violence increase. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is commonly thought that the society is not safe and crimes or violence are not under control if there is no capital punishment. From my perspective, I believe that the
death
sentence is not the best way to punish prisoners. On the one hand, there are several reasons why capital punishment should be enforced. It must be recognized that in the case of dangerous or serious crime,
for example
a serial killing or terrorism, imprisonment or even life sentence is not enough because no one can make sure that the criminal will not relapse back to their bad
behaviors
manner of acting or controlling yourself
behaviour
again after being in jail for a long time.
Furthermore
, the
death
penalty will either set an example for fellow criminals or act as a deterrent to offenders. For that reason, criminals know that they must take/ hold/ claim responsibility for their activities in the future and there are no excuses for that.
On the other hand
, I’m of the opinion that
government
Suggestion
the government
should abolish the
death
sentence. Even the most careful investigation does have mistakes, which lead to several consequences
such
as the innocent can be wrongly convicted and executed. The compensation and apologies are not enough for the innocent’s family who has suffered agonizing and complete loss. Another reason is the obsession of the ones who put
prisoner
Suggestion
prisoners
a prisoner
to
death
. They may face with several problems related to psychology because of the fact that they have killed people despite it being legal. To conclude, while it is true that execution decreases the amount of crime and violence, these issues need to be more thoroughly discussed in the future because of its disadvantages.
