Many people today do not feel safe either at home or when are out. What are the causes? What are the solutions.

In recent years, there is an increasing number of
people
feel unsafe whether they are on the streets or at home. There are several reasons behind
such
a phenomenon. In
this
essay, I will elaborate on the causes and suggest effective solutions to tackle
this
problem. There are various reasons why
safety
issue is raised both on the street and at home among
people
.
First
and foremost, an increasing number of poverty-stricken
people
would choose an extreme method to obtain money by house robbery and murder.
For instance
, in certain developing countries, their
crime
rates are relatively higher due to the fierce competition in society. In order to survive, being a criminal will be a quicker way to hold money and food.
Hence
, as a citizen, they will be afraid of these
crime
events.
Moreover
, the rapid spread of COVID-19 diseases brings anxiety and fear to society. It is difficult to determine where can be the perfectly safer place to avoid.
Therefore
, concerning the above two causes,
people
would pay more attention to
safety
.
However
, there are some feasible solutions that can largely mitigate the negative influences behind these causes. Importantly, governments can issue more severe laws and penalties for criminals,
thus
it may largely decrease the
crime
rates. At the same time, authorities may enhance the
safety
systems by providing more policies on the streets.
Furthermore
, individuals should wear masks to prevent diseases and government should regulate more serious medical tests for nonlocal
people
. In
this
way, it can largely reduce the concern of
safety
for
people
. In conclusion, street
crime
and epidemic diseases can be identified as the two most common reasons why more and more
people
do not feel safe today. Governments and individuals should take action quickly and effectively to resolve
this
issue.
