In some countri trles, more and more re people are becoming g interested in finding out about the history fory of the house or or building they live in. What are the reasons for this? How can poople research this?

There is a saying that “humans are curious creatures” which means that humans are curious about everything. In recent years, there has been a group of
people
wanting to find out about the
history
of their houses. In
this
essay, I will be explaining what the reason for the spike in curiosity is.
Firstly
, I believe that the trend of trying to find the
history
of the
house
is the result of the recent growth in thanatophobia or the fear of death stated in a news article back in 2018. The logical explanation for the growth is unknown, but I believe that
this
is the influence of recent years’ horror media that has presented paranormal activity inside
people
’s houses when someone had previously died inside their houses.
Furthermore
, many
people
attempted to contact the authority or the landlord to find the
history
of the
house
and tried to sell it after knowing the dark
history
of the
house
. Some
people
are scared to the point of selling the
house
the moment they find out that the
house
has a dark
history
. Most
people
fear that there might be someone dead inside the
house
before they have moved in. In conclusion, I believe that the reasoning behind
people
’s curiosity is the influence of the horror media that presents
people
being dead inside the home which makes
people
afraid that someone had died before in the
house
they are living in. They will go through all sorts of means to find the
history
of the
house
’ whether through the landlord or authority.
