Dear Mike, Good day. Hope you are doing well. It's been a long time since we met after graduation. I am writing to inform you that I have recently moved to a new flat which is located at West side park, Australia. As I said earlier, my previous flat has been sold out, and the former house owner requested me to vacate the house within one month. So, I initiated home hunting, which lasted for ten days indeed. Eventually, I got a new residence, which was located in west side park in the downtown part of the city where fewer dwellers were residing there. It is an undeniable fact that the location of the shack is very impressive, and it was surrounded by a lot of vegetation and a pond nearby it. My flat is nearly 700 square yards and has three individual rooms, along with an attached bathroom and one hall and kitchen.
In addition
, in my flat, the balcony area, is the best place , and we can watch the fantastic view of the pond and the city as well. I would cherish inviting you
next
weekend for lunch at my new flat, and my family want to see you as well indeed. Hope you will come by
next
Sunday. Let's meet soon. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Best wishes, Ravi

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
