PART 1: You read an article in a magazine about your hometown and some of the information was wrong. Write to the editor to correct the article and tell him how unhappy you are.
Dear Sir, Madam,
I am writing
this
letter to draw your immediate attention to a mistake done by your team in a magazine about my area. Let me explain the situation, yesterday, I was reading the magazine published by your company and I found a piece of information regarding my hometown. It was about the female education success rate in the village. It was mentioned there that the literacy rate of the village is low as compared to other villages which is not correct. Nowadays, people are aware of the importance of education for girls, so they prefer to send their girls to school. Linking Words
Moreover
, the literacy rate has improved from 50 per cent to 75 per cent Linking Words
this
year in the village. Linking Words
Therefore
, the information in the article is wrong and I want you to correct it and post it again, so others don't misunderstand.
I am genuinely disappointed because you cannot publish anything without having proper and full information. I hope you will address Linking Words
this
concern as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
