There is an ongoing debate over whether the sufficient method to grapple with environmental
problems
is to raise the cost of
fuel
and
cars
. Many
individuals
claim that it is attributed to some issues,
such
as straining public transportation, and some level of
individuals
suffer from it though I mostly agree that an increase in the price of gasoline and
cars
might solve environmental
problems
. Admittedly, raising the prices of
fuel
and
vehicles
has a detrimental impact on not only the social life of
people
but
also
on public services. One of the significant reasons is that low-income
individuals
who rely on personal
cars
suffer from
this
phenomenon. Since they use personal
cars
for commuting, they face financial difficulties in order to purchase gasoline which depresses them.
This
fosters dissatisfaction with society and
also
leads to a drop in

productivity.
Further
justification is that
this
situation encourages
people
to tend to travel by public transportation which leads to devastating consequences. The more public transit is utilized, the more
problems
arise. As an example, all citizens opt for busses for commuting, and
this
trend causes congestion on the road, which leads to being late for their workplace.
Nevertheless
, despite its detrimental influence on the population, increasing
fuel
prices can lead to the protection of the ecosystem of the country. A major reason is that it reduces the consumption of personal
vehicles
because of higher costs.
Therefore
,
people
are deterred from driving unnecessarily which diminishes the amount of produced carbon dioxide. As an example, in Singapore, the government has increased the payment of oil which decreases not only the usage of automobiles but
also
the emissions from them.
Further
telling reason is that elevating vehicle costs can incentivize
individuals
to turn to environmentally friendly forms of transportation,
such
as public ones, walking, or cycling.
However
, Japan is famous for its industry, but they are
also
known as a country that strongly prefers eco-friendly
vehicles
;
as a result
, Japan is situated on the most fresh countries list.
Hence
,
this
change has a positive impact on environmental
problems
. In conclusion, rising
vehicles
and
fuel
prices taking their toll on effect on the country, including
people
's lives, and increasing pressure on public transport,
while
I am of the opinion that it might decline the the total carbon emission.
