In addition, the number of cruise ship travellers showed dynamic changes compared to other ones. In terms of those who stayed on cruise ships and island began at around 0.75 and 0.25 million respectively. From 2010 to 2011 vacationers staying on cruise ships increased by nearly 0.25 million, while people who stayed on the island remained unchanged. Between 2015 and 2016, the number of people visiting on island overtook those people staying on cruise ships. Throughout the entire period, although the total number of tourists began at 1million, it went up by 2.5 million, resulting in this proportion reached the peak of 3.5 million.
