At the present time, getting information has become easier than ever before because of

especially the internet. As people can readily avail the news they want over the internet, some people are saying that the age of printed newspapers is over now. Personally, I completely agree with the point and

essay will discuss the point in detail. Modern age is the age of

technology

and the internet is one of the greatest inventions of modern science. Because of

this

invention, the whole world has become like a global village where we can communicate with anyone within moments.

As a result

, we receive the latest news of what is happening around the world with just a click of a mouse. Every news company has their digital websites where they publish online news for the reader.

In addition

, people are using other forms of social media

for example

, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin for sharing their latest events. A recent survey has shown that nowadays people prefer to read news online rather than reading them in printed media like newspapers or magazines.

Although

there are some people who enjoy reading printed newspapers, they are very few in numbers. Especially the older generations of people, who are not accustomed to the latest

technology

, still prefer to read printed magazines. But,

this

does not stop the big companies to move forward with the

technology

and many news companies have already stopped their printed version. Another recent study has predicted that within the

five years, about ninety percent of news media will be shutting down their production of printed newspapers. To summarize, it is futile to fight with the

technology

rather we should embrace it with open arms. We have to accept the fact that printed media has served its time, and now it is the time of digital media.

In my opinion, these advancements have always been a great achievement even though there are some demerits.

There is no doubt that admission to a higher education is more competitive than it was back in the day. It is argued that people should have the same opportunity to apply for a university or college without considering their level of academic knowledge. Although I agree that everyone should be allowed to submit their application, academic ability should always be considered in the application.

Some people who have been in prison become good citizens later, and it is often argued that these are the best people to talk to teenagers about the dangers of committing a crime. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Many are of the view that ex-convicts get transformed into good people in society, and it is usually suggested that such individuals are the ideal ones to educate young adults on the negative effects of being involved in illegal activity. I totally disagree with the statement because teenagers may not listen to a prisoner's idea and also other adults like teachers, parents, and the police should rather talk to teenagers.

In recent years, genetic engineering has emerged as a new area of focus. There has been a popularly held belief that it is an innovation and should be widely applied by nation states globally to satisfy the increasing food demands as a result of the rise of the population; however, from my viewpoint, I am strongly opposed to the given idea in view of the following reasons.
