Living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems, as well as practical problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is argued that people live in a foreign country can result in many severe social problems and practical problems. I completely agree with
this
view as it can lead to social isolation and financial problems.   There is a truth in the argument that people would have a wide range of problems if they had
language
barriers when they settled down abroad. I think an outstanding social problem caused by
language
barrier is social isolation.
That is
to say, people are difficult to integrate into the society due to they cannot communicate with the local people via the domestic
language
or they misunderstand others frequently.
Consequently

For instance
, the phenomenon is common in older immigrants who usually cannot speak the local
language
. They are likely to only have a conversation with their children who speak the mother tongue.
Moreover
, a

This
is mainly because it is difficult for people who has a
language
barrier to find their ideal jobs as some occupations have

such
as doctors and nutritionists.
In addition
, employers usually pay a lower salary

this
, a recent survey led by the

government revealed that 78 per cent immigrants reported they could not find an ideal job and 23

second
language
when you are living abroad as it can cause an individual’s social isolation and financial difficulties.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
