Nowadays technology is increasingly being used to monitor what people are saying and doing (for example, through cellphone tracking and security cameras). In many cases, the people being monitored are unaware that this is happening. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

A large number of people are unaware that their communication and activities are monitored by modern technology.
This
is undoubtedly a very considerable issue and the question inevitably arises as to whether the results are beneficial. Some people object to

sort of control, arguing
that is
unfair to track or record citizens since
this
may constrain their anonymity. They believe that these strategies should be broadly restricted,
in other words
, tools as GPS and safety records could not be used for monitoring purposes since privacy encompasses an array of different aspects, including daily actions and conversations.
This
would be

menaced by an indiscriminate usage of modern technology’s capabilities, leading to the impossibility to preserve
this
fundamental individual right.
However
, there is a counter argument which says that implementing those systems is not a hazardous matter as a consequence of people’s need

Furthermore
, they would argue that there is a major aspect to consider since crimes play a key role in destabilising a country’s stability and are
therefore
responsible for a significant amount of social insecurity. To sum up,

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
