What we see on TV and what we read in newspapers, have

influence on our lives. Without a doubt news is finalised by news editors, they decide what should be telecast on television and print on newspaper and these decisions depends on certain factors

such

as privatization, publicity and profitability. It

also

be noticed in the past two decades, most of the news channel coverage bad news rather than good news. It has been seen that most of our news channel is owned by a private organization. Their chief is concerned about money making. So, their news editors always converge those news which can easily grab attention of viewers that's why, most of the time they telecast bad news to increase their viewers.

is political affiliations. Owners of news channel have a great deal of money with political parties

as a result

news editor constrain to broadcast news in the favour of these politicians. The preference of the reader or viewers has enormous impact on the kind of news being reported. According to recent researched most of people prefer to watch violence based news than peaceful news on the result, reporters always highlights the news which has crime content to distract people more quickly. Sometimes news items that are essential for the public to know are given less or no coverage because

this

does not serve the public interest. In conclusion, the editors are influenced by a variety of factors and always choose news which grab a more audience. They may be telecast good news if readers and viewers turn their interest from bad news to good news.
