In some countries, owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case? Do you think this is a positive or negative situation?

Housing is an essential aspect of living. It is undoubtedly true that people of an overpopulated city dream of owning a
home
, and it is a popular choice over renting a
home
for an extended period. I completely agree with
this
thought, though it carries some risks. In an overpopulated city where spaces are limited to cater to a large population, it is a status quo to have own
home
. People in
such
place, feel a sense of fulfilment if they can buy one
home
.
Besides
that, the rent amount of
home
is a costly item of living costs. To reduce
this
cost burden, some people aim to buy or build their own homes, which can consider a good investment soon. While people are trying to buy their own
home
, there are two major positive things occur.
Firstly
,
this
pushes the country's economy by creating some jobs.
In other words
, different related businesses flourish simultaneously, which creates opportunities for a diverse group of people to earn money,
for example
, from raw materials to several services required to support
this
industry.
Secondly
, it improves the living standard. Healthy competition is somewhat visible within different industry players, which leads to some new services added to
this
industry. Take a swimming pool, shopping mall, and 24/7 power supply as an example.
On the other hand
, some demerits
also
come in front, like, owning
home
always leads to a loan burden.
This
loan burden not only impacts on monthly expenses, but
also
creates mental stress. After discussing both positive and negative sides, I think, positive is in more substantial to have a
home
than to stay at rent
home
, which outweighs the negative side of it.
