Learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Some people think that learning about history has no benefits for those who live in ever advanced lifestyle. I completely disagree with the aspect that historical events are useless, as I believe that learning about the past has variety benefits for every individual and I am going to discuss in details in
this
 essay. To embark on, by studying the past, people will be able to learn about wars that happened in the past, about humanity as well as how to maintain world peace. ‘Without yesterday, there is no today’
this
 phrase is a great importance,
for instance
, from having knowledge about wars, people would start appreciating what they have currently, good illustration of it can be, that nowadays there is much less conflict between countries compared the past and people could live more convenient.
Moreover
, studying the past is very important because it makes us doubt and take consideration into earlier assumptions. For
this
 reason, people will discover mistakes that have been made in the past.
This
 will show us which ways will never go down again and will help a person develop correctly. Studying the past is not only studying the past, but
also
 studying our and others' mistakes. Through
this
 way of learning, people will become more and more experienced and will never repeat the same mistakes again. To sum it up, certainly there are people who still believe that history has no beneficial outcome,
nevertheless
, from my personal point of view I believe that learning from past events has numerous benefits for human beings, in medical and economic areas.
