A section of the teaching faculty believes that it must be compulsory for pupils to wear a uniform while attending classes. I strongly agree with
this
 idea as it inculcates values of discipline and
also
 teaches them why is it important for them to be responsible for themselves. I will
further
 explore my reason in
this
 essay. Wearing designated outfits to classes brings about a sense of discipline in the minds of the students. It lets them understand that they are required to follow a set of guidelines
such
 as adhering to a proper dress code in order to be able to receive an education. A recent study conducted by the Delhi higher board of studies in India has revealed that the students from a school which had a dress code fared much higher in a disciplinary test as compared to the students who did not have
such
 a compulsion. Children are required to know how important it is to be presentable in society as it is one of their responsibilities. They need to be able to represent themselves in a proper and neat fashion so that they are perceived as good individuals by anyone observing them. In a survey carried out by a community service centre in London, showed that over 90% of the adults judge a child by the clothes they wear and are less likely to pay positive attention towards the ones that don't.
Although
, many people are of the opinion that a child should be able to express him/her self, to be able to connect with their creative side which can be done by the clothes they wear. I believe that it is actually necessary for them to wear a uniform to school.
