Tourism is encouraged in many countries. Does tourism bring more advantages or disadvantages to a country?

In the present ,world so many nations are supporting touristry. Nowadays, travelling abroad is becoming popular among younger generations because of multiple factors

as affordability of travel expenses and

also

travel advertisements. In my opinion, the development of the tourist industry increases the economy of a

country

which is an advantage and has an appalling impact on local traditions and

culture

. In

this

,essay we will see both sides of a coin. On one hand,

tourism

will give a helping hand to increase the economy of a

country

by getting income in so many ways ,

for example

, tourist visa, separate tax to stay in the

country

etc.

Furthermore

, local people can create so many new jobs in the name of

tourism

like working in restaurants, owning shops and opening local handicrafts stores.

In addition

, the standard of living is

also

increased.

On the other hand

, the local teenagers will be attracted to the western

culture

very easily which will affect the local tradition and

culture

Moreover

, government suffers from extra burden to allocate funds for infrastructure ,

for instance

, laying roads and proving public transportation.

In particular

will have a serious impact on the day to day activities of the locals. To sum up, there is no doubt that

tourism

has a direct economic benefit on the

country

also

has disadvantages that will impact the social traditions and

culture

. According to my opinion,advantages overweigh disadvantages.

However

, governments have to study carefully before planning any new

tourism

programme and launch.
