“Prevention is better than cure”. Researching and treating disease is too costly so it would be better to invest in preventative measures. To what extent do you agree.
The cost specific to develop a new drug and treating an ailment has been increasing manifold. While there are some that are difficult to detect, most of the diseases can be prevented at early stages by taking appropriate measures. I am of the strong opinion that by investing in preventative measures, a huge cost associated with treatment and research can be saved.
