The horizontal bar chart provides information about the amount of
electricity
 generated and used in the top ten countries during the year 2014. Overall, it can be depicted that China and Korea were highest and lowest in producing and consuming
electricity
 during the given period. As can be seen in the diagram, the production and consumption of
electricity
 in the countries China, United States, Russia, Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, South Korea was 5398 and 5322, 4099 and 3866, 1057 and 1038, 936.2 and 856.7, 871 and 698.8, 618.9 and 499.9, 561.2 and 462.9, 530.7 and 455.8, 485.1 and 449.5 billion kilowatt-hours respectively. It is evident that in these countries the production was more than consumption.
On the other hand
, Germany is the only country in which the usage of
electricity
 exceeds its production, the
electricity
 produced here was 526.6 billion kilowatt-hours and the usage of the same was 582.5 billion kilowatt-hours.
