In modern society, some people believe that

 are no more in need.
Although
 there could be many substitutes that can replace the

, I consider that

 still play significant roles.
Firstly

 are functioning as an institution,
although
 there are lots of images and videos on the Internet. Concretely, there are tons of displays in
museums
 that cannot be replaced with resources on the Internet. Since

 hold lots of valuable resources in place, they are regarded as one of the most popular must-visit lists for learning.
Therefore
, many schools still plan school excursions to
museums
 so that students can learn the information with real ones, neither pictures nor videos. So students can memorise the information

 by matching it with a piece of the evidence they experienced.
Hence

 seem to be still efficient, in terms of education.
Secondly

 play roles in providing vivid and real experiences to people. To be specific,

 exhibits artefacts, arts, masterpieces and so on, which is valuable and memorable in human history. Since they preserve exhibits in great condition, the public can have opportunities to feel and see for a long time. Take the Louvre museum as an example, there are lots of exhibits which are reputable internationally, so the staff of the Louvre museum try their best to conserve their original shapes and conditions so that many tourists can visit and see in person, especially Mona Lisa. In conclusion, it seems to be evident that

 are still indispensable places for the public, in terms of education and preserving artefacts.
