Happiness is often considered difficult to define. Why is this? What factors determine happiness?

Many
people
think that
happiness
is very hard to explain.
This
is because everyone has a different perspective and there are many factors that describe
happiness
. In my opinion, some individuals struggle a lot to achieve satisfaction, whereas others are immedicable happy, irrespective of the situation. As we know, different
people
have different levels of needs.
This
unsatisfied necessity
further
stimulates an individual to act in order to satisfy them. Once they reach a specific level of contentment, they start aspiring to move on to the
next
level. Fulfilment of needs leads to satisfaction which
further
provides
happiness
to a
person
. Since
people
perceive
happiness
differently, they find it difficult to quantify
happiness
.
Moreover
, it is nothing but a state of mind.
For example
, a highly affluent
person
may not be contented with what he has,
on the contrary
, a poor
person
can be happy while struggling for a day's meal.
Similarly
, there are various determiners of
happiness
. The
first
and foremost is a feeling of content. An individual who has a sense of positive discontent always remain happy.
In other words
,
such
a
person
enjoys his work and life but still aspires for more and more to learn and to achieve. The other factor is the point of control or the key to
happiness
. Human is either controlled by external factors, or he is capable of controlling them.
As a result
, his
happiness
is decided by other
people
or things, not by his own mind. If
people
are able to control their minds,
then
they can control their own
happiness
, no matter what the circumstances are. To conclude,
happiness
depends on our perceptions. As far we have the keys to
happiness
in our hands, nothing from outside in
this
world can affect the stage of our
happiness
and satisfaction.
