Cultural Shock is a new worrying concern for few immigrants. What are the few possible options to eradicate this?

Every human is unique,
however
, a group of individuals in a particular area share a common way of life which is termed as
Culture
. Immigrants who move from their native place will be forced to adopt the
culture
of their new surroundings. Cultural shock can be termed as the difficulty in adopting a new
culture
and
this
is very common nowadays. There are two ways to eradicate cultural shock,
first
, one is prepared and the
second
one is to adapt Preparing is the
first
and foremost way to eradicate the
culture
. An immigrant should have complete knowledge of his new surroundings. He must learn the geographical and cultural aspects of the migrating country. Learning can be done in many ways
such
as reading, browsing the internet and by spending time and taking ideas from experienced people, who have immigrated before to the same place.
Secondly
, it is to adapt, once a
person
has to be mentally prepared for the change he should try to adapt to the new atmosphere. It may take a while to adapt to a new
culture
but it will surely happen if we are willing to adapt. Physical
adaptation
and mental
adaptation
is equally important.
For example
, a
person
migrating from South Asian countries like India should physically adapt to the colder weather of North American Countries like Canada. The time required for mental
adaptation
of a new
culture
depends on knowledge, physical
adaptation
and the willingness of adopting the new
culture
.
Although
every migrant faces cultural shock, its impact and adaptability depend from
person
to
person
. It is the willingness and the metal preparation which makes the difference.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
