Some people believe that allowing children to make their own choices on everyday matters (such as food, clothes and entertainment) is likely to result in a society of individuals who only think about their own wishes. Other people believe that it is important for children to make decisions about matters that affect them. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

In the modern era, society is encouraging the youths to take responsibility for their decisions be it in any sector while
on the other hand
, some people are against it. Some recommend that guardians should take care of these selections for children. In
this
essay, I would like to express my thoughts on why children should always think of a broader picture. It is believed by some people that, if given the control on individuality, the young generation is being disobedient to the elder members of the house, it is the result of giving them unnecessary freedom in day-to-day life activities
such
as choosing their own clothes, food or mode of entertainment. They attract similar communities which tends to mislead while taking decisions.
For instance
, a teenager who is in college would become friends with a person that has characteristics of being lazy, addicted to drugs, and always going out for parties can apparently spoil the other kid.
On the other hand
, society considers that kids and youths should focus on the major decisions of their life and leave the rest on their guardians.
Nonetheless
, they should invest time in building careers, mental and physical fitness and life skills. Skills would not only be useful in academic terms but
also
in improving relations with outside worlds and creating a brand image for their selves. To exemplify, research shows that if a kid develops skills when they are young, higher possibility of success rate. In my conclusion, it is clear that if children spend their valuable time on the activities or things which affects them a lot,
then
they will receive its benefits in future rather than spending on food, clothes or recreational activities that leads to waste time.
