Government should spend more on railways than roads. Do you agree or disagree with the statement.?

This
essay talks about the statement that government should spend more amount of money on
railways
over roads. I totally agree with
this
opinion. Let's discuss in detail the advantages and disadvantages of implementing that.
Firstly
, we will talk about the advantages. As we
use
the train as a mode of
transport
for travelling to long-distance than a
car
. Using public
transport
reduces the
travel
expenses as well as it's good for the environment. If we
use
a
car
for our mode of
transport
it becomes uneconomical and
also
it creates more pollution which is not suitable for the environment. So, the authorities should spend much amount on
railways
. We can
also
get rid of traffic issues as well as road accidents if we invest more amount on
railways
.
On the other hand
, we
also
have some disadvantages. In case of an emergency, we need to
travel
as fast as we can to get out of the situation. If we spend money only on developing
railways
we will suffer in those situations. We have a particular schedule for trains and we need to follow them but In the case of the
car
, we can
use
it conveniently. If we want to
travel
with more luggage it is not a good idea to
use
public
transport
. In my opinion,
although
we have more comfort in using a
car
to get our work faster and smoother it affects the environment badly. The government should make sure that we can have trains frequently so that the waiting time will not bother people to
use
such
kind of
travel
. So, I totally agree with the opinion of spending money on
railways
is a good idea.
