Theme 1: Environment. In modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals for food or use animal products, for instance, clothing and medicines. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

From the primitive time,

animals

have played a significant role in people's life: their meats are supplies of food, and their fur and bones for blothing and medicines.

However

, with the dramatic development of technology, we are gradually independent of

animals

for life's activities. Some people belive that, in the future, it is no longer necessary to exploit

animals

for human's purpose. I totally agree with

this

viewpoint since we can eliminate our reliance by using alternative products, which are not animal - related.

Firstly

, humans, with body structures of herbivores, actually do not need to consume any meat for survival. It is true that we eat meat to provide our bodies with lipit and protein, which are essential for us to stay healthy.

However

, people can absorb these nutritions from other plants,

for instance

, nuts - a nutritous and diverse supply of vegetable protein.

Therefore

instead

of consuming tons of

animals

, we can replace by following vegetarian diets and still have enough energy and nutritions for our bodies. A compelling example of

this

is buddhist cultivator's diet, which is non-animal-related. Even their oil are vegetable oil. Notwithstanding their strict diets, thet are still healthy and even have longer life expectancies. Considering the dependence of humans on

animals

for others fields,

although

we have relied on

animals

for clothing, medicines, ... for a long time, these industries are gradually switching to using other substitute materials. Since the elements from

animals

can be extracted from plants, herbs and created through chemical and physical reactions in laboratory. We can take cosmetic industry as an impressive example: Cocoon - a new and famous cosmetic brand in Vietnam - is 100% vegan cosmetics and has committed not to have any experiment on

animals

. In the

last

year, Cocoon have received a great deal of positive reviews about it's efficiency and have been voted as the best selling cosmetic brand in 2021. To conclude, I am inclined to believe that we should not cruelly exploit

animals

for our own benefits.

Instead

of that, it is entirely possible to use other food sources and materials which have no origin from

animals

, will we protect our environment and the balance of ecosystem, since animal husbandry has negatively influenced the world.
